Welcome to Teacher's Pet dog training - Oxted, Surrey.
Teacher's Pet dog training, is run by Zoe Tomlinson (BSc Hons, PG Dip CABC, APDT 01080). It is based in Oxted, Surrey, and offers a range of puppy training services, to help you give your puppy the best start in life. Please note that training services are aimed at puppies, and are, therefore, only available to dogs under 6 months of age.
These services include:
- One to one puppy advice and training.
- A course of 4 puppy training/ socialisation classes.
Zoe is a qualified and professional dog behaviourist/ trainer. Zoe has been training dogs, in particularly puppies, for nearly 10 years. In this time she has worked as an assistance dog trainer for both Canine Partners and Dogs for the Disabled. She is recommended by local vets and assists in running 'puppy parties' at Medivet in Oxted. She appreciates that every dog and owner is different and so customises her services and techniques to individual requirements.She shares her life with her 10 year old Labrador, Willow, and her 20 month old Newfoundland, Padfoot (who is now considerably bigger than he is in the photo above!)
Zoe is a member of the APDT, meaning that she abides by their code of conduct and only uses kind, fair and effective dog training methods. Sessions and classes are informative but fun for both dog and owner.
Teacher's Pet dog training is based in Oxted and all group classes are held at Medivet in Oxted, but house visits are available throughout Surrey, Sussex and Kent (mileage fees may apply).

4 week puppy training course 4 one hour sessions covering basic obedience - sit, down, stay, walking nicely on the lead and recall. There are also socialisation opportunities for the puppies (and owners!) and a chance to ask questions about any problems you might be experiencing. |

Drop in classes (for dogs and owners that have attended the 4 week puppy training course). A one hour session to allow you to refresh your puppy's basic training and then start work on more advanced commands. |

Please note:
- All classes take place outside so please come prepared for the English weather!
- Class spaces are limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
- Aggressive dogs and bitches in season will not be admitted into a group class.
- To attend a 'drop in training session' you must have completed a 4 week puppy training course in advance.
